The final race of the season is always one full of emotions, but today it was even more exciting. Manuel Gonzalez started the race from second on the grid, in what was his last day with the Gresini colours. He was eager to do well, but also had the pressure to secure as many points as possible in order to clinch third place in the championship. He did all of the above, as aboard his Kalex machine he put together an intelligent race, carefully planned up to the last turn. He finished the 2024 season on the second step of the podium and with third place overall in the standings. Thank you, Manu!

Albert Arenas had a solid race: after two difficult days, the Spaniard finally managed to put all the pieces together and from seventeenth on the grid, overtake after overtake, made it to the finish line in eighth place. Unluckily he later got disqualified for tyre pressure but today’s race pace is a confidence boost for 2025, where Arenas will race once again with the Gresini family.

2nd – MANUEL GONZALEZ #18 (3rd in the championship standings with 195 points)

“Our main goal today was to secure the third place in the championship standings. This circuit has always been a special one for me and the team gave me a bike that was basically perfect: I could have fought for the win, but I didn’t want to jeopardise the main goal. It was an impressive day!”
