Enea Bastianini wins the World Championship together with Team Italtrans and SPARK

With 7 podiums and 3 victories, Enea Bastianini is crowned MOTO2 WORLD CHAMPION at the last race of the world championship on the Portuguese circuit of Portimao. It is a dream that comes true for the young rider from Romagna, for Team Italtrans and for Spark.

Enea starts the race from the second row after registering the 4th best lap time during qualifying. He immediately moves to second place with an excellent start. After a few laps he finds himself in 7th place. An endless race full of overtakings, twists and lots of adrenaline follows, while the other title contenders are close to the top positions. However Bastianini #Bestia arrived in Portugal with 14 points of advantage over second place. He  fights then with great lucidity, he conquers two positions and closes the race with a 5th place that is enough for him to win the 2020 Moto2 Champion title.

It has been a particular year, with such a twisted calendar because of the health emergency and closed doors to all fans. All sacrifices and the work done with determination led to a memorable result that finally crowns every effort.

Enea Bastianini's journey in Moto2 ends with the title of Champion. Spark has accompanied him since he entered Moto2 category since the first tests in Jerez two years ago and worked together with him with determination and perseverance to find even the smallest performance increase which can mean so much at such levels...

After having crowned such dream that confirms the great work of both Spark R&D and production department, we wish our great Italian champion all the best for his career in MotoGp.
